Sebastian's Business Advice
Ok, so I'm a cat. What do I know about business? Believe me,
if you can take advice from long-dead oriental warlords and kindergartners
on how to run your business, it's not too much of a stretch to listen to
someone who really knows what it means to get down and dirty with a problem.
So here are some of my best-kept secrets of business success:
-
Pounce on the little problems before they become big ones.
-
Always let your associates know when they please you. A well-timed
purr will keep them scratching your belly for hours to come.
-
Nip poor performance in the bud. Occasionally you have to show your
teeth to an underperforming staff.
-
Be nonchalant in negotiations. Believe me: if you wait long enough,
they'll dangle that chew toy right in front of you.
-
Don't be afraid to delegate. A cat who doesn't get caught up in micromanagement
has more time to indulge in life's finer pleasures - like a well-deserved
nap before dinner. Your associates can take care of the details of
providing the dinner.
